Yantian Sub-venue in Da Meisha Village has been overshadowed by rapid urbanization and tourism development in the surrounding area. This UABB offers a great opportunity to present a full picture of the history, culture and folk customs of Yantian. Given the existing spatial resources, public lifestyle, pleasant street scale and self-sufficient life, the exhibition explores to enhance the connotation and quality of the area through the quadripartite collaboration of architects, artists, residents and government; meanwhile, shows the possibility of villages as open street blocks and public service space in future city, and discusses a new possibility of renewal for future urban villages.
